For the USA track, I was responsible for modeling the track geometry and sculpting the surrounding landscape. The workflow utilized modular road pieces assembled via splines which required significant manual cleanup, I welded vertices and filled geometry gaps to ensure a solid foundation before integrating the track with the distant vista. My set dressing pass included the placement of vegetation, props, crowd barriers, and rock formations. I also applied vertex painting and color map (Substance Painter) variations to break up tiling on the ground and road surfaces. I worked closely with three other artists to merge our individual sections into the final level.
